Ok here's an entertaining story. My friend from freshman year was having a birthday party. There are 13 of us from freshman year that were all friends. We called ourselves the "fab 13". Great name, huh!? Anyway, so one of the thirteen walks in and wishes the birthday girl a happy birthday. Then she walks over to the other 2 of the 13 that are already there. She talks to them for about 60 seconds before walking back over to the birthday girl, telling her she hopes she has a great day, and then leaves.
Total time at the party: 2 minutes. After she walked out everyone looks around like "what the heck just happened!? Was she really here for only 2 minutes!? Who does that!?" This girl was a completely socially capable girl before, but she was acting like she was socially inept! It was ridiculous!
Oh yeah, and that socially inept girl was me.
at least you showed. this socially inept fab 13 didn't even show. haha.
ReplyDeleteWe all have our awkward moments in life. This will happen when you are not paying attention to yourself and get closed off from society...when you get too busy with life! This too shall pass.
